Either Way it is Still Bad for You

For some people cigarette smoking is a lifestyle. They have certain times of the day that they that they always go and get their fix. As times have gone on and more and more research has been done, cigarette smoking has become very looked down upon. It is so unhealthy and one of the leading causes of death in our society today. Now that people are realizing how bad it is for them they have tried to find a way to make it just a little bit better. E-cigarettes are now taking the place of actual cigarettes for some people, but either way they are still bad for you. Although this is supposed to be a little better health wise, smoking is smoking. People are still putting toxins into their bodies and they are slowly killing us. Whether or not you are smoking cigarettes or the e-cigarette it is still a growing problem in our society. It is almost everywhere we turn; college campuses, work places, and other public areas. Its almost like we cannot get away from it and we probably never will unless people start to realize the affect it is really having on them.
There have been some things done to help prevent the amount of smoking being done. The Congress passed a Tobacco Control Act to help limit the amount tobacco being sold. They have also done better things with advertising and actually being somewhat honest about the affects of their products on people. There are steps being done to better the health of our society and hopefully more and more people start to see that on cigarette is not worth it, whether it is electric or the real thing.
